  The drive from Chatswood takes around 30–35 minutes via the Pacific Highway or Warringah Freeway, depending on traffic. Metered street parking is available on Argyle and Gloucester Streets, and nearby car parks include Clocktower (1 min walk) and Quay West (3 min walk).

  Take a train from Chatswood Station toward Sydney CBD. Transfer at Central Station if needed, then continue to Circular Quay. From there, it’s a 5–10 minute walk to The Rocks. The total journey is roughly 35–45 minutes.

Parking is easy, and there is usually plenty around our location. You can find metered parking on Argyle St, Gloucester St and surrounds. Closest parking garages are Clocktower and Quay West (both run by Wilson’s parking).

• Catch a bus from Chatswood Interchange toward the city (e.g., M40 or 333 routes).

Yes, we are completely beginner friendly! All of our rooms at PaniQ Room are rated 4/5 difficulty, but as we offer a dedicated gamesmaster and unlimited clues with no penalties, we can adjust the difficulty of all rooms to suit your team – from absolute beginners to seasoned escapers! 

There is so much to see and do in The Rocks and surrounds! Our enviable location right in the heart of The Rocks means we are only moments away from some of Sydney’s best landmarks – The Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House and MCA! Take in the views around Circular Quay, shop at The Rocks markets, or stop at a historic pub for lunch. With the CBD, Barangaroo, Walsh Bay, The Royal Botanical Gardens and King Street Wharf only a few minutes walk, you have the whole of Sydney on your doorstep!

We have a variety of excellent top-dining restaurants, upmarket pubs, relaxed family-style dining and takeaway venues, all within 5 minutes walk of our location. Neighbouring suburbs to The Rocks include Circular Quay, Barangaroo, Walsh Bay and Sydney Cove. The CBD, King St Wharf and The Royal Botanical Gardens are only a few minutes walk away.

PaniQ Room at The Rocks is centrally located in Sydney, making it easy for Chatswood visitors to reach by car or public transport. You can enjoy a short train or bus ride to Circular Quay, then a quick 5–10 minute walk to our escape rooms, right in the heart of Sydney’s historic Rocks precinct.

Most escape rooms including those serving Chatswood recommend comfortable clothing that you can easily move around in. At PaniQ Room, we suggest to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in – skirts and heels are fine! You are also welcome to dress in the theme of your escape room!

While many escape rooms near Chatswood and across Sydney have a minimum age of 9 or 10, PaniQ Room welcomes children of all ages. All our rooms are family-friendly, with no horror, gore, or adult themes—though some rooms may have slightly scary moments, so check the room descriptions if you’re unsure. Children aged 7 and under play free when accompanied by a paying adult.

To avoid disappointment, it is recommended for PaniQ Room and any other escape rooms serving Chatswood that you book in advance. Escape rooms are busiest on weekends and evenings. PaniQ Room does accept walk ins if we have a gamemaster available, so please give us a call or drop in if you are close by The Rocks and wish to play!
