Paniq Room

Escape Room Spotlight: Sen3es

You enter the mysterious house of a famous magician, in search of his secrets. As you continue through the rooms of the house, the doors close behind you and there doesn’t seem to be a way back. Is the magician still around? Don’t let him mess with your mind, and don’t lose your sense of time – you need to overcome the magician’s tricks and escape within 60 minutes or the magician will be stuck inside your head forever.

In Sen3es, you play as apprentice magicians searching the haunted house of a master magician (or perhaps his ghost?) to uncover his book of magic secrets. The master magician is expecting you – and has laid a series of diabolical traps along the way to ultimately prove your worthiness for the magic book. The name of the game is Sen3es, and you will indeed need to use four of your five Senses (no need to lick anything, folks!).

Owners, Martina and Akos, brought the concept of the mysterious magician with them from Hungary (the original home of Houdini). They wanted a room that was atmospheric and surprising and would be memorable for their guests – many of whom at the time had never played an escape room before.

The room was designed by Hungarian magician and two-time magic world champion Soma Hajnóczy (whose ‘magic’ hands even make an appearance in the room!).

As it was built in 2015, Sen3es is a ‘classic’ escape room, with padlocks and locks featuring prominently alongside technical and audio-visual elements. It is one of the oldest escape rooms remaining in Sydney, yet is still as popular today as it was 9 years ago due to its eerie character and quirky puzzles that you won’t see anywhere else.

This room features eerie elements, but no horror, gore or jump scares. No climbing or ducking required. One player must have full mobility. This room is suitable for all level players, however due to some dark sections, this room is better suited for older or braver players!

Think you’re clever enough to best the magician?
